Terms of Service (Beta)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ZappyBee Beta ("ZappyBee", "we", or the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Beta Service

The Service is in beta. Features may change, be removed, or be unavailable at times. You understand that the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may contain bugs.

3. Description of Service

ZappyBee is an observability platform for AI agents. The Service includes trace and step collection, analytics, prompt versioning, alerts (email and Slack), exports, retention policies, team access, custom webhooks, and shareable dashboards.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Send malicious, abusive, or excessively large payloads through the SDK.
• Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Use the Service to store sensitive personal data (PII, PHI, payment card data) in trace inputs/outputs unless you have appropriate safeguards and lawful basis.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the content and data you send to ZappyBee (including trace inputs/outputs and metadata). You grant ZappyBee a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

We do not use your trace data to train foundation models. We may use aggregated and anonymized metrics (for example, feature usage and performance) to operate and improve the Service.

7. Fair-Use Limits and Rate Limiting

During the beta, the Service is free but subject to fair-use limits. We may impose monthly usage limits (for example, on traces and steps) and API rate limits to prevent abuse and protect platform stability. If you exceed a limit, requests may be throttled or rejected (including with HTTP 429).

8. Cost and Pricing Estimates

ZappyBee may display estimated costs for model usage based on model identifiers and token counts you provide. These amounts are for analytics only and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate (for example, for new or unknown models).

9. Integrations, Webhooks, and Sharing

• Slack: If you configure Slack notifications, you authorize us to send messages to the Slack webhook URL you provide.
• Custom webhooks: If you configure webhooks, you authorize us to send event payloads to your specified URL(s). You are responsible for your endpoint security and handling of received data.
• Shareable dashboards: If you create a shared dashboard link, anyone with the link may access the shared data until it expires or is revoked. Treat shared links as secrets.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You may configure retention policies to automatically delete traces after a chosen window, where available. You may delete your account from the Settings page. After account deletion, we will delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, subject to legal and operational requirements.

11. Billing (Future)

Billing is currently disabled during the beta. If we offer paid plans in the future, additional terms may apply and payments may be processed through third-party providers (for example, LemonSqueezy).

12. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk to the Service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZappyBee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes should be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
